My network card is dead and buried. I have spent the past two days diagnosing its illness, mourning its loss, shopping for its replacement, and condemning to the fires of hell the guy who installed it in the first place. Also, I have completely dismantled my computer's CPU and cleaned out its guts with compressed air. It was filled with filthy dustballs, and spiderwebs. Which means that my computer really did have a bug, a real bug. Meanwhile, I am now intimately familiar with really scary phrases, such as "ipconfig" and "ping" and "169" as the IP address of the devil.

Your expensive computer
To a simple stone.
(My computer looked like this, a little, only much dustier.)
